In this discussion, you are asked to justify the importance of knowledge management systems as an integral part of any organization’s information system.  Answer the following questions:

1. What is knowledge management (KM)?  How can human behavior pose challenges for a KM project?
2. How can collaborative technologies facilitate knowledge management? For this last question, you are encouraged to think creatively.  Create a list of suggestions for a company of your choice (where you work or the university), outlining how it could use different types of collaborative technology to manage knowledge.
